Shipping Policy

Better Little (“we” and “us”) is the operator of (https://betterlittle.com) (“Website”). By placing an order through this Website you will be agreeing to the terms below. These are provided to ensure both parties are aware of and agree upon this arrangement to mutually protect and set expectations on our service.

General

We ship from Hamilton, Ontario. At this time, we only ship to Canada and United States. We usually process and ship orders within 2 business days and send you an order confirmation email with your tracking number.

Free Shipping

The free shipping offer is available within Canada, excluding the Yukon, NWT, Nunavut, Newfoundland & Labrador and to the US, excluding Alaska and Hawaii or other select remote locations where market-established rural delivery fees may apply.

To qualify for free shipping within Canada, your order must total $100 or more after all discounts have been applied and to the US $150 or more after all discounts have been applied.

Free shipping will not apply if any purchase of an eligible order is cancelled, resulting in a total purchase of less than $100 for Canada and less than $150 for the US.

Better Little has the right to cancel any order if extra fees apply to shipping.

The Free Shipping offer may be modified or cancelled at any time without notice.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on weight, dimensions and destination of the items in the order. Payment for shipping will be collected with the purchase.

Return Due to Change Of Mind

Better Little may accept returns within 30 days of receipt of items. For detailed information about returns please visit our Return Policy page.

International Shipping

All international orders are shipped by the method purchased at checkout. Please note all VAT and International Duty Fees, which are imposed once a shipment reaches the recipient’s country are payable by the customer or recipient of the purchased products. If you choose not to pay the VAT, Duty Fees or any other additional charges for customs clearance, the parcel will either be returned to us at a cost or will be destroyed by the broker.  If returned, we will offset the refund of the product purchased by any additional shipping fees. We do not refund shipping fees. We do not refund orders when the products are destroyed due to VAT, duties or customs fees not being paid. This is the responsibility of the purchaser.

Transit Time Domestically

In general, domestic shipments are in transit for 2 – 7 days

Transit time International

Generally, orders shipped internationally are in transit for 4 – 15 days. This varies greatly depending on the shipping method you have selected and your location.

Dispatch Time

Orders are usually dispatched within 2 business days of payment of order.

Change of Delivery Address

For change of delivery address requests, we may be able to change the address at any time before the order has been dispatched. For address change requests please send an email to [email protected] with your order number.

P.O. Box Shipping

Better Little will ship to P.O. box addresses using postal services only.

Delivery Time Exceeded

If delivery time has exceeded the forecasted time, please contact us at [email protected] so that we can conduct an investigation.

Tracking Notifications

Upon dispatch, customers will receive a tracking link from which they will be able to follow the progress of their shipment based on the latest updates made available by the shipping provider.

Parcels Damaged in Transit

If you find a parcel is damaged in-transit, if possible, please reject the parcel from the courier and get in touch with us. If the parcel has been delivered without you being present, please contact us at [email protected] as soon as possible with multiple photos or videos showing the damage clearly.

Process for Parcel Lost in Transit

We will process a refund or replacement as soon as the courier has conducted an investigation and deemed the parcel lost.

Import Duties & Taxes

Import duties and taxes for international shipments may be liable to be paid upon arrival in destination country. This varies by country, and Better Little encourage you to be aware of these potential costs before placing an order with us.

If you refuse to to pay duties and taxes upon arrival at your destination country, the goods will be destroyed by the customs or returned to Better Little at the customers expense, and the customer will receive a refund for the value of goods paid, minus the cost of the return shipping. The cost of the initial shipping will not be refunded.

Cancellations

If you change your mind before you have received your order, we are able to accept cancellations at any time before the order has been dispatched. If an order has already been dispatched, please refer to our refund policy.
